Please be aware, due to current roadworks taking place on the A52 this is also disrupting the Cotgrave bus service from Nottingham, where buses are taking an alternative route that does not stop at the crematorium. The return service from Cotgrave to Nottingham is currently still stopping outside Rushcliffe Oaks

Major Roadworks on A52
Please be aware there are major roadworks taking place on the A52 for 12 weeks, affecting the junction with Stragglethorpe Road. At present the is no right turn at the Stragglethorpe Road when approaching from Nottingham.
We would suggest an alternative route to the crematorium while these works are underway.

Nigel Lymn Rose, our Chairman, has been awarded an MBE in His Majesty The King’s New Year 2026 Honours List, recognising more than 50 years of dedicated service to the bereaved.

As a fourth-generation member of the family business founded in 1907, Nigel has devoted his life to caring for families across Nottinghamshire and South Derbyshire, setting the highest standards of dignity, compassion and professionalism within the funeral profession.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday for our Christmas Memorial Service. It was a wholesome evening of remembrance filled with love and community spirit. ❤️ Special thanks to Stuart for leading the service and to the uplifting Notts Community Choir , who are truly amazing. 🙌 and to M.A. Mills for sponsoring the tree. We will reveal the total amount raised from our Charity raffle for Ash Lea School tomorrow.
