Today is National Siblings Day 💜

It can mean different things to different people in our community. For some, it’s a day to celebrate siblings. For others, it’s a reminder of the brothers or sisters they hoped for, or the ones who should be here.

We know the journey after baby loss isn’t always simple. You might be longing to grow your family, navigating life with a child who never got to meet their sibling, or finding your way after welcoming a rainbow baby while holding onto grief.

Whatever today brings for you, joy, sadness, or a mix of both, please know you don’t have to face it alone.

We’re here, and we remember 💜

More than 100 tractors will be driven poignantly through villages near Melton Mowbray on Sunday to raise money in memory of a young farmer who was killed in a road accident last summer.
The event has been organised by the family of Jack Woodward, who was 22 when he died after his Land Rover left the carriageway on Nottingham Lane, in Six Hills.
Details in the comments section on all the villages the convoy will pass through after starting out at 4pm.

A bikers procession led the arrival of a very special Gentleman 🚲 🚲 🚲 to Rushcliffe Oaks last week making the service very special with a personal touch ❤️ Thanks again to Mousley Family Funerals. for always going the extra mile for the families and as always we like to say yes to special requests 😊 posted with the families permission ❤️

Please be aware, due to current roadworks taking place on the A52 this is also disrupting the Cotgrave bus service from Nottingham, where buses are taking an alternative route that does not stop at the crematorium. The return service from Cotgrave to Nottingham is currently still stopping outside Rushcliffe Oaks

Major Roadworks on A52
Please be aware there are major roadworks taking place on the A52 for 12 weeks, affecting the junction with Stragglethorpe Road. At present the is no right turn at the Stragglethorpe Road when approaching from Nottingham.
We would suggest an alternative route to the crematorium while these works are underway.
