Our aim:
Our aim at Gentle Hands Home Care is providing high quality care services to people in their own homes, to keep them as independent as possible so they are able to spend moments with their loved ones. We have a strong and supportive team within our office and a good team of Health care assistants. We provide services to everyone with all aspects of care in mind. Our carers are fully trained to provide support to individuals with a huge variety of conditions which includes dementia, stroke, heart conditions, End of life care and companionship. Together with you and your family we will put together a person-centred care plan to ensure that all your preferences are met initially. and next year we turn a whopping big 10! Our manager Cheryl goes above and beyond to provide excellent support for our carers as they need to be looked after as well, that's why we have an open door policy here, meaning that our door is open and our ears are listening whether its coming for a quick chat or popping in for a coffee/ tea break. We’re Gentle Hands Home Care, a domiciliary care service in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and we provide a range of care and support services for Elderly individuals.

We’re seeking to recruit some great new care workers; people with the right values and attitude to work in our domiciliary care service – could this be you?

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to match our own! You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.

Above all we want someone that has:

- A commitment to quality and being the best we can.
- Providing excellent care and support to all our residents.
- Showing dignity and respect to the people that they will be working with.
- Working well together as part of our team.

Are these important to you?

The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. Duties may include supporting with personal care needs, as well as helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, watching the football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.

There are a range of different shift patterns available to fit in with other commitments you may already have.
