Hi Everyone
So you no I like a challenge, this year I've accidentally booked myself to do a fitness challenge. The 6th of September, followed by a 1/2 marathon, on the 7th of September. I really wanted to do both, so I thought, why not just do it. I'll really be pushing myself to complete both, but I'm training hard. I'm eating the right nutrition to hopefully complete both of them.
My Why?
in in 2012 I was paralysed, I had 2 spinal surgeries to fix my back. I was diagnosed with disc degenerative disease. I also over the last 20 years. Have had about 10 surgeries linked with endometriosis, polysistic, ovaries, 3 biopsies, and never Thought I'd ever be able and I mean the word able to do any of the physical activities that I am doing now. I don't ever want to stop moving until my body says so and I never want to be where I was in 2012. So I've worked with a personal trainer very slowly. He's built my confidence and built the strength in my body to be able to do the things I'm doing today. I'll be running this with my daughter.
Which is why I chose this charity. I want my children to to be physically fit and strong, so they don't have to go through the things I did when I was younger.
