About the role:

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Experience in a senior care role (or ready to step up)
✔️ NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
✔️ A caring, professional, and reliable approach

🇮🇳 Indian Celebration Day at Kingfisher Court 🇮🇳

Last week, Kingfisher Court was filled with vibrant colours, joyful music, and the rich traditions of Indian culture as we celebrated our Indian Celebration Day!

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the beautiful performances by the children of our dedicated staff. Dressed in traditional Indian attire, they lit up the room with their dances, music, and energy—bringing smiles to the faces of our residents, families, and team members alike. 🎶💃🕺

Our dining team also joined in the celebration by preparing a delicious Indian-themed menu, giving everyone the chance to enjoy authentic flavours from across India.

A huge thank you to our staff and their amazing children for putting on such a memorable show, and to everyone who helped organise this joyful event. At Kingfisher Court, we’re proud to honour the many cultures that make up our home and continue to create experiences that bring people together.

🌈 Pride, Love & Community! 🌈

What a fabulous day at Nottingham Pride 2025! 🏳️‍🌈 Residents and team members from Kingfisher Court Care Home joined the celebrations to show that love, acceptance, and unity have no age limits.

From waving flags to singing along to music, our residents embraced the spirit of Pride with joy, laughter, and lots of colour! 🎉💖

At Kingfisher Court, we believe in celebrating everyone for who they are — with dignity, respect, and pride. A big thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and community for such a warm and empowering day. 🥰

Kingfisher Court is proud to share we have raised £53.10 for the Sunny Days Children's Fund!

The charity raises funds to help children under the age of 18 years with a wide range of adverse medical conditions including Leukaemia, Cerebral Palsy, the Deaf and Blind, Terminal Illnesses, and all other life hindering conditions.

Sunny Days make small grants to enable them to help as many children and their families as possible, whether it be for day trips, medical equipment, respite, hospital travel, or sadly making children's remaining time as comfortable as possible, to include where achievable, children's last wishes.
