Care Quality Commission (CQC):

When planning to set up your own private medical practice, it is compulsory to complete a CQC application.

What is a CQC and why do you need one?
CQC registration is a legal requirement for every provider of adult social and health care, be it an organization, partnership or individual providing regulated activity in the UK. It is more than just a compliance-led legal requirement, as it was created to ensure that only the very highest levels of care are being provided in the UK.
