Hello everyone, this charity is dear to my own own heart.

My lovely friend is holding a charity event at her salon in Carlton. There will be cake, tombola and a raffle ! Friday the 27th of September 9:30-1pm if anyone would like to donate or attend !

Here at kimi hair and beauty we have decided to hold a macmillan event the week commencing 23rd September to help raise money for cancer.
I know there are so many people that have fought cancer and some that are still suffering and some that are just starting the journey of treatment to try and beat it.

Unfortunately over the last few weeks our family have been trying to come to terms with this as this has become apart of our lives too, as sadly my mum has been diagnosed with a glioblastoma,
a rare form of brain cancer. As you can imagine this has knocked us all for six and has been a massive shock. MacMillan have already been a great help to mum, So we’d like to try and raise as much money as possible to help give back to this fabulous cause.

There will be lots of things going ahead over the week, as you know we normally offer free drinks but we would be very grateful if that week you could make a donation towards this and all the money will be put into the pot.
At the salon On Friday 27th we will be holding the official macmillan coffee morning with lots of cake and also a tombola. We will also be putting on a raffle where you can win some fabulous prizes this will go up soon. In the meantime time if you have any unwanted items that could be used on the tombola or you’d like to bake a cake or donate a prize for the raffle please get in touch with myself or the team as we would be extremely grateful. For anyone that can’t make it to the coffee morning I have popped the link on if you like to make a donation.

Before and after from today’s client and a reminder to check your elderly relatives feet. This gentleman’s nails had grown so long they were cutting into the skin under his feet. Worked to remove these slowly and carefully . Looking much safer and comfortable. Applied a generous application of for smooth feet. Some of you ask how the instruments I use are cleaned. Meet the Enigma 12 autoclave ! Autoclaves or autoclaving is a process whereby instruments are placed in a high pressure chamber and subjected to high temperatures. The autoclave heats the instruments to 134 degrees and vacuums the instruments into the packets. Leaving them free from all living microorganisms and sterile.
