At Urban Abbey in Sneinton this morning for a pre Easter Retreat😊🙏

The phrase that caught my attention, from Matthew’s account of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemene, was ‘Watch and Pray’

This prompted a time of reflection as I wrote out the phrase in the circle. I find this practice stilling and illuminating and at times profound.

Wonderful Retreat this week Urban Abbey😊

Today’s retreat had a creative theme!

To be honest I am not enthralled at the prospect of craft/art type activities.

But I am so glad I went, as I found the session profound and deeply moving.

And I was on a real roll with what began as mandala type circle and then began to flow and have a life of its own!!

This week the BBC have released a dvd of the Missing Episodes of Dad’s Army which were recorded for radio and have now been turned into an animated series. David features in one of these episodes.

I enjoyed watching it with him over the W/E….before the release date!!

As the sun was shining today I abandoned the ‘to do’ list and went to Blidworth Woods😎

After lunch I walked leisurely for an hour enjoying the solitude, the stillness and the sunshine….a winning combination😎🙏

I always find nature is fuel for the soul.
