Well what is the answer?

This picture explains it simply. Non supportive footwear can cause your feet to make excessive movements causing strain and sometimes pain. A lot of patients present in our clinic in footwear that isn’t suitable for their foot type.

These trainers have a soft sole, a slim base and no surrounding support causing both feet to pronate when standing. This extenuates more when walking in which this patient was experiencing pain in their feet.

After a recommendation of some running trainers with suitable support and some treatments they literally walked out pain free.

If you are experiencing any pain in your feet, don’t suffer and make sure you get it treated.

How it all began

About us

The foot, knee and back clinic was established in 1997. The clinic, originally based in Beeston and called the Beeston Podiatry and Sports Injury Clinic, moved to Long Eaton in 2003 to its current premises on Derby Road. In 2006 the clinic expanded to Sheffield and opened its second branch, now on Middlewood Road.
