April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

Bowel cancer, which includes cancer of the re**um and colon, is one of the most common cancers in the UK.
The bowel is part of the digestive system and is divided into the small and large bowel.

Bowel cancer symptoms include persistent blood in stool or re**al bleeding, changes in bowel habits (diarrhoea/constipation) lasting over 3 weeks, unexplained weight loss, extreme fatigue, and abdominal pain or lumps.
