and an assessment of your general state. A discussion and explanation of the problems found and an appropriate treatment. Helen Stanley Foot Health Professional, trained at the SMAE institute, the longest established centre, training Foot Health Professionals, Chiropodists, Podiatrists since 1919. Treatment includes dealing with corns, hard skin, ingrowing toenails, verrucae and general feet maintenance.

"I am a dedicated Foot Health Practitioner with a strong background in patient care. My experience within the NHS Ambulance Service has given me excellent skills in patient communication, assessment and delivering high standards of care. Combined with my specialist foot health training, this allows me to provide safe, effective and person-centred treatments tailored to each individual needs. I am qualified with a level 4 diploma."

Many thanks to the patient that forwarded the following information regarding the works being done as part of the Town Deal. This article explains the extent of the works being done from 4th May.

We have been informed that from 4th May 2026 until approximately 3rd November 2027 there will be disruptions in the local area associated with the works being done for the Long Eaton Town Deal.

In addition to the closure of Gibb Street car park, there will be changes to the local roads, potentially including:

• Road closures
• Roads becoming one way only
• Restrictions to on-road parking
• Restrictions to stopping outside our building

Please bear this in mind when making future bookings and try to leave plenty of time to get to your appointments if coming via car. We will do our best to inform you of any changes.

We try to give our patients as much warning as possible of access issues, such as road works or road closures etc, but this one may have a significant affect on many people accessing the centre.

We have been in touch with EBC and they have confirmed that Gibb Street car park will be closed from 4th May to facilitate the use of the site by contractors undertaking essential project works along the High Street. The duration of the closure is currently anticipated to take one year, but this is subject to change. The next nearest car park on Claye Street will remain open and fully accessible for public use throughout the duration of the works. We will try to keep our patients updated when we know more.

Today is Ellie's last day after having worked for us since 2014. What can we say? It has been an absolute pleasure to work with her for these past few years and she will be sorely missed by staff and patients alike. We wish her all the best for the future with her new business venture with Llandovery Osteopathy - Wales has gained itself an excellent Osteopath.
