JRH Support

JRH Support JRH Support are a family-owned company providing supported living and community support services in Nottingham.

We support people with learning and physical disabilities, autistic people, people with mental health needs and also older people. We're a family owned company and have been providing care and support services since 2003. Although we've grown significantly over the years and now employ over 140 staff, we strive to maintain the family values we've always had within the company, and firmly believe all our employees should have a voice and feel part of a team. We understand that the people we support are all individuals and might require several different kinds of support – whether it’s help with developing and maintaining daily living and independence skills, support with personal care or just wanting company or opportunities to develop confidence and experience new things. At JRH Support we provide a person-centred approach to support, and always spend time getting to know people and their individual needs and preferences before matching the right Support Workers and the right kind of support. We strongly believe in people being in control of their support, and supporting them to identify outcomes that are important to them and are both achievable and measurable. This can help develop basic life skills, confidence and independence, and ensure people are able to reach their full potential. Whatever you need, whether it’s support for just a couple of hours a week or for 24 hours a day, we can always help.

Community Support Worker Vacancies
A role with heart – not just a job
https://www.jrhsupport.co.uk/application-form

Most job ads focus on experience, qualifications, and ticking boxes. This one is about who you are, not what’s on your CV.

As a Community Support Worker, you’ll be supporting vulnerable adults in the community to live fuller, more confident, and more independent lives. You won’t wear a uniform, you won’t rush from task to task, and you won’t just feel like a service turning up.

You’ll feel like someone who belongs!

Every day is different, but you’ll always be building connection, confidence, and independence. One day, you might be -

Going to the cinema together and seeing someone grow in confidence just by being out.

Sitting in a café, sharing a coffee and conversation, helping someone feel comfortable in public spaces.

Supporting a manicure or self-care activity that boosts confidence and self-esteem.

Helping someone build friendships and reconnect with their community.

Supporting everyday life skills such as budgeting, planning meals, and keeping a home running smoothly.

There’s no pressure, no rushing, and no box-ticking. This role is about time, trust, encouragement, and small moments that lead to big changes.

What you need:

• Kindness and patience
• A good sense of humour
• Genuine empathy
• A belief in people and their potential
• A full driving licence and access to a reliable car

We’ve got you covered:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support from a team that listens and cares
• Flexible hours across weekdays and weekends
• A schedule that works for you and the people you support

Why people stay:

Because at the end of the day, you can honestly say:
“I helped someone live their life today.”

If you’re looking for work that fills your heart as well as your diary, this could be the role for you.

Start a job where who you are truly matters. You already have what it takes! https://www.jrhsupport.co.uk/application-form
