🧘‍♀️ A moment of calm and connection at Ledian Gardens!

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a wonderful Pilates talk and taster session with Vivienne — a perfect blend of movement, mindfulness, and community. 🌿✨

These sessions are a great way to stay active, improve balance, and boost wellbeing in a relaxed, supportive environment. We can’t wait for the full classes to begin!

🌺 Remembering Together at Ampfield Meadows
This month’s Friends of Ampfield Meadows gathering was a special one, dedicated to Remembrance Day.

We were joined by local historian Hazel Lankester from the Eastleigh and District Local History Society, who delivered a fascinating illustrated talk on “Some Events in Eastleigh During WWII.”

From the story of the Spitfire to the surprising tale of “Jane” — Eastleigh’s own secret weapon who, according to Churchill, helped lift the morale of soldiers during the toughest times — it was an afternoon filled with reflection, history, and community spirit. ❤️

🌺 Honouring the Brave at Ampfield Meadows
This weekend, residents and team members from Ampfield Meadows proudly joined the official Remembrance Sunday Parade organised by the Office of the Mayoress of Eastleigh.

Our Village Manager, Kat, and Community Wellbeing Manager, Lidia, laid a wreath of poppies in heartfelt tribute to those who gave their all for our freedom. ❤️

We will remember them. 🌹

🧸💛 Record-Breaking Pudsey Bears at Great Alne Park! 💛🧸

Our amazing Knit & Natter Group stole the show at our coffee morning, selling out their handcrafted Pudsey Bears in just 20 minutes! ⏱️✨

Thanks to their talent and our generous guests, they raised £148 for a fantastic cause – plus some lovely extra donations! ❤️

Moments like these make our community at Great Alne Park so special: creativity, kindness, and plenty of smiles all around! 😄
