Just a quick FYI - shortly after it went live on Audible, my sound producer Ruairi and I became aware of a couple of minor sound quality issues with the audiobook version of ‘QUACKS’. I’m happy to say that these have now been fixed 👍🏼.

The doctor is out 😪. Putting my feet up (replete with the Christmas Quacker socks my wife gifted me 🦆😉), and settling in for the festive season 🎅🏼.

The last year has been a hell of a ride. To everyone who’s supported ‘QUACKS’ in 2025 (be it the paperback, eBook or Audible versions), I’m hugely grateful 🙏🏻. There’s more to come from me in 2026 - but for now, I wish you all a very merry Christmas, and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year ❤️.

Exciting news 📣😁!

After months of work, the audiobook version of ‘QUACKS’ has now been edited and uploaded to ACX, and (barring any last minute technical hiccups) should be available on Audible, Amazon.co.uk and iTunes (worldwide, baby!) within the next 2 weeks 🥳!

I’m incredibly excited for people to hear the audiobook. Since the book originally came out in May, a lot of people have told me that - much like myself - they prefer to listen to audiobooks as they often simply don’t have the time to read paperbacks/eBooks; if so, then I’ve got you covered. For those of you who have so kindly already read the book, the audiobook version of ‘QUACKS’ also features new bonus chapters, as well as a brand new acknowledgements section.

I wanted to take a moment here to thank my incredibly talented sound producer/editor/all round wizard Ruairi Rollins, who - God help him - had to listen to hours of my recordings, and has expertly edited and refined them into the final product you’ll soon be able to hear. I literally couldn’t have done it without you, Ruairi 🙏🏻.

Today marks exactly 6 months since ‘QUACKS’ was first released by Cranthorpe Millner Publishers Ltd - and what a 6 months it’s been!

The DUCKING AND DRIVING tour has taken in everything from radio appearances to book signings, podcasts to book fairs, literary festivals to academic events, and even a book club appearance. To say that the journey has been surreal would be an understatement - not to mention enjoyable, educational and hugely rewarding.

To everyone who has bought a copy of the book, come to see me in person at a signing, listened to me plug ‘QUACKS’ on the airwaves, or left a kind review or comment, your support has meant more than I can say.

After seven months of promotional events for ‘QUACKS’, today was the final stop on the DUCKING AND DRIVING 2025 tour 🐤🚗.

I was honoured to be a guest speaker at today’s Nottingham University Hospitals Black History Month celebrations, a fantastic - not to mention important - event, which was even attended by the Mayor of Nottingham herself (that’s two Mayors I’ve now met at book events, for those keeping score)!

I just wanted to extend my sincere thanks to the organisers, the wonderful audience (the largest I’ve spoken to yet!), and the incredibly kind and friendly people who bought signed copies of the book. I’m also delighted to say that proceeds from today’s sales will be going towards the trust’s nominated charity 😃. Cranthorpe Millner Publishers Ltd
