💜 It's Cervical Screening Awareness Week. And our chance to remind you to show your cervix you care by booking a screening appointment at your GP surgery when you are invited.

💜 Together with the human papillomavirus HPV vaccine, regular cervical screening is the best way to protect against cervical cancer and prevents over 7 in 10 diagnoses.

When you are invited for screening, book your appointment with your GP surgery.

If you’re aged 11 to 25 and identify as LGBTQ+ (Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, non-binary and those who are exploring gender identity and sexual orientation), we want to know about your experiences of emotional health and wellbeing services. These services are delivered in line with the THRIVE framework and principles, and form part of the ‘getting advice’ and ‘getting help’ categories of the framework.

We want your feedback on:
• Your current experiences of health and wellbeing services as an LGBTQ+ person: what is working well for you and what could be better?
• What can health and wellbeing services do so that LGBTQ+ children and young people feel comfortable, safe and accepted?

📢Children under 6 are now being offered the MMRV vaccine instead of MMR as part of the NHS routine childhood vaccination programme.

This adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.

You don’t need to do anything — your GP will contact you when your child is due.
