We’ve had quite a few clients recently asking for an even gentler acupuncture experience…

So for today, we’re introducing something new:

Candy Floss Acupuncture Needles

Yes—needles made from ultra-fine spun sugar, designed to dissolve gently on contact while still “stimulating” your acupuncture points.

Perfect for:
• Needle-sensitive clients
• Those with a sweet tooth
• Anyone curious about a softer approach

You may notice a slight sweetness during treatment—this just means the needles are activating 🍬

We’ll be offering this as a limited option throughout today.

Its been 10 years this week since I stopped having two jobs and became a full time acupuncturist. Time flies when you are having fun.

6 years this week since we went in to lockdown and I had to stop working but the business survived. Thank you to you all

So I’ve managed to twist my knee 🙄 luckily it doesn’t hurt it’s just given up on its main job of supporting me. I’m still working but give me a min to get to the door please. (And yes it will be getting all the needles, all the heat lamps and all the tape)

Today’s news from clinic and surrounding area.

The flat above is being done up so we have the relaxing sounds of building repairs - 😔

Pinxton has some road closures so getting in and out is a problem

Round the corner from clinic heading towards ironville there are traffic lights 🚦 I don’t know how long for.

Please don’t worry if any of these hold you up. If you are late you can guarantee the person after you is.

Well doesn’t that look better. I know some of you will miss seeing the artist salt patterns.
It’s not perfect yet as there is still some drying happening but I couldn’t live with it as it was.

From 1 April, there will be a small increase to acupuncture treatment fees.

This change helps reflect rising practice costs and allows me to continue offering the same level of care, time, and attention during treatments.

Appointments booked before 1 April will remain at the current rate.

Mindful Monday post of a different nature. As you know my current rant is about potholes (maybe because we have a tiny car) all the routes in to the village are littered with potholes some of which have been ?repaired in the last week but are already failing , so please be extra careful, I’d rather you be late for the appointment than need a new tire.
