Today is the start of 'Active April', according to Action for Happiness.

The Easter Bank Holiday weekend is coming up here in the UK, the perfect time to build new outdoor healthy habits.

Today's action for happiness is 'commit to being more active this month, starting today'.

But why start now? Exercise helps to:

❤️ Reduce stress & anxiety
❤️ Strengthen heart & lungs
❤️ Slow ageing & prevent illness
❤️ Help to balance hormones
❤️ Strengthen bones

💡 Exercise doesn’t have to mean the gym – you could walk instead of driving, do some gardening, or try a dance or yoga class with a friend!

Did you see my sleep poll?

So many of you are struggling with 3am wake-ups and simply waking up feeling exhausted before the day has even begun 😩

This is SO common with women in perimenopause (this used to be me!).

And here’s the thing you may not realise:

👉 It’s not just bad sleep habits
👉 It’s not because you’re doing something wrong

It’s often down to hormones, stress and blood sugar changes all happening at once.

That’s why:

You wake up wide awake at 3am

Your brain suddenly won’t switch off

You feel exhausted no matter how long you’re in bed

I’m thinking of putting together a simple, practical workshop to help you:
✅ Fall asleep more easily
✅ Stay asleep (no more 3am staring at the ceiling)
✅ Wake up actually feeling rested

No extremes, no overwhelm - just things that actually work in real life.
