I help tired, stressed and overwhelmed women restore energy, confidence and calm through sustainable nutrition and lifestyle habits: empowering you to take control of your health and thrive at any age. I help them to find ways to increase their energy and feel less tired so that they can do everything they want and need to do without feeling drained or exhausted at the end of the day. After working with me, my clients feel more energised, healthier and more motivated. They sleep better, feel happier and they stress less. My mission is to help you to supercharge your energy, health and wellbeing so you can live your life to the full. I work from home in Nottingham and my coaching space is a cabin at the end of my garden. I invite you to take some time out from the stress and overwhelm of daily life and join me in The Health Coaching Cabin. Hi, I’m Catherine and I’m a Health Coach. Here’s a bit more about what I do and why...

😫 Do you feel tired, stressed and overwhelmed or know someone who does? I’d be surprised if you don’t - it seems pretty normal these days, especially for women in midlife!

✨ If every day feels like groundhog day, or you are wondering ‘is this it?’, then I promise that you don’t need to feel like this!

That was how I felt for years 😞, until I realised the impact it was having on my health and relationships. Over many years I transformed my own health and then retrained, to help others do the same.

Through simple, sustainable changes to diet 🥑 and lifestyle 🧘‍♀️, I now help my clients to regain their energy, find their calm, and confidently take control of their health and life.

🫶🏼 I’m passionate about empowering women to live life on their own terms – I love seeing my clients’ motivation and confidence grow week after week.

When I’m not working, at home you’ll most likely find me either on the yoga mat, reading a good book, or cooking something delicious in the kitchen! 🍲

I also love getting out into nature, with friends and family. 🌳

But my life didn’t always look like this.

😔 If you're feeling tired and lethargic after Christmas then it could be down to your blood sugar. 🩸

If you've eaten more sweet things or simple carbs than usual (🙋🏼‍♀️ I have), this can play havoc with your energy levels and moods as your blood sugar spikes and crashes. 📈📉

💡 Simple tip to get back on track for more stable energy...

Eat protein with every meal and snack – e.g. chicken, turkey, eggs, fish, yogurt, lentils, chickpeas, tofu, edamame, nuts, seeds

Why?

✅ Protein takes longer to digest than carbohydrates and this slows down the absorption of glucose from your meal – keeping your blood sugar (and energy levels!) more stable.

✅ Protein keeps you full for longer – you are less likely to crave sweet stuff and snacks.

As well as boosting your energy:

✅ Protein is essential as a building block for your cells and muscles, for growth and recovery.

✅ Protein helps to maintain strength and muscle mass – especially important as you age.
