Have you ever tried Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation technique that brings you into a deep state of conscious relaxation.

It’s practiced lying down in savasana (co**se pose), while I guiding you through various stages of relaxation, including:

* Setting a Sankalpa (intention)
* Body scan (rotating consciousness through the body)
* Breath awareness
* Visualization
* Detachment from thoughts

Though it may feel like sleep, the mind remains conscious while the body enters a profoundly restful state.

🧘 Benefits of Yoga Nidra

1. Deep Relaxation
It activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest), helping to relieve physical tension and mental stress.

2. Reduces Anxiety & Depression
Studies have shown it lowers anxiety and depressive symptoms by calming the nervous system and reducing overactivity in stress centers of the brain.

How are you feeling today?

How many times do you get asked that and someone really means it and we say I’m fine (when we’re really not!!)

How often do you ask yourself that question and really listen to your heart and connect with how you are feeling?

With this crazy world and seeing more and more clients with so much trauma and stress who have just been carrying on, carrying their big bags of trauma for so long….. now you can put it down for a bit…..

I offer massage and holistic therapies and a space to talk and time for you.

Everyone else can go away and for a while you can unwind and let go….

I offer massage and holistic therapies in my cosy conservatory in Long Eaton or in Nottingham City Centre at Natural Wellness Centre Nottingham and at the moment a yoga nidra and curry night in September Elephant Rooms Draycott
