What an incredible two days! 🎉

This week, our UK and Ireland Ideagen colleagues came together in Nottingham for an event to remember – filled with energy, collaboration and inspiration.

Led by our CEO, Ben Dorks, the two days were packed with insightful highlights: diving into the Ideagen growth story, unlocking the power of brand with the brilliant James Peach, and celebrating incredible projects, achievements and innovation across the business – including the transformative impact of AI.

We ended on a high note with our largest-ever collective community initiative, in partnership with Himmah and supported by volunteers from Nottingham Forest Community Trust and Nottingham Rugby – a powerful moment of connection, purpose and teamwork that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

From sparking fresh ideas to building meaningful connections, this was all about celebrating what makes us stronger together. We’re moving forward inspired, aligned and more united than ever as one Ideagen family.

Today, nearly 500 of our UK and Ireland colleagues came together for our largest collective community initiative yet!

Partnering with Himmah, we transformed the East Midlands Conference Centre into a bustling hub of kindness. Together, with volunteers from Nottingham Forest Community Trust and Nottingham Rugby we recreated their warehouse and packed an incredible 3,000 winter goody boxes for children across Nottinghamshire.

Each box was filled with goodies supplied by Ideagen and made even more special with the donation of a children’s book from our Ideagen colleagues. Ideagen’s resident armed forces reservists ensured everything ran smoothly It was truly inspiring to see so many roll up their sleeves, work side by side, and give back in such a meaningful way.

This initiative reminded us of the power of connection, community, and teamwork—and what we can achieve as the Ideagen family. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, donated and helped spread a little joy this holiday season. You’ve made a real difference!

It was lights, camera, action at Ideagen today!

We were delighted to welcome Branwen Jeffreys, BBC Education Editor, and the BBC News crew to our Nottingham HQ as part of their GCSE results day coverage.

The team spoke with Kya and Kenya, two of our amazing apprentices, to hear about their career journeys so far – why they chose the apprenticeship route, the skills they’ve gained and what their future looks like in the exciting world of tech.

Our Chief People Officer, Louise Tommasi, also spoke with Branwen to share how we’re committed to investing in early careers and the next generation of talent, and how our apprentices bring fresh energy, innovative thinking and make a real impact across the business.

It's World Bee Day, a chance to celebrate these small but mighty creatures. Ideagen HQ in Nottingham has several beehives on-site, reminding us daily of how tiny workers create buzz-worthy impacts.

These pollinators exemplify teamwork, efficiency and the critical role everyone plays in a thriving ecosystem.

By supporting our bees, we're not just sweetening our day with honey but contributing to biodiversity and sustainable practices. It’s a hive mind approach to making a difference!

The Ideagen team volunteering at Himmah were 'royally' supported on the production line last week when HRH The Duke of Gloucester joined them to help pack much needed food parcels.

Joined by Lord Lieutenant Professor Veronica Pickering, His Royal Highness spoke to Ideagen Chief People Officer, Louise Tommasi, about the importance of volunteering to Ideagen.

It was also an opportunity for the VIP party to meet and learn more about the activities of key Himmah partners, including Salaam Shalom Kitchen, The Runnymeade Trust, Shifting Your Mindset, Wahda CIC and HEYA Nottingham.
