With the skills and knowledge we have gathered over many years of working privately, we ensure your care remains at the heart of everything we do. The practice is owned by 4 co-principles Dr Mark Overend, Dr Barbara Wilson, Dr Elaine Tuckley and Dr Andrew Seton with 7 dentists, a dental therapist, 4 dental hygienists, practice manager, and a large qualified and loyal support team, who are committed to providing you with the best possible dental care and advice, and excellent customer service.

1.Rinse the brush with water before use.
2.Insert gently between teeth at the gum line.
3.Move in and out a few times (don’t twist violently).
4.Rinse brush after each use.
5.Use the appropriate size for each gap, as teeth spacing can vary.

🔹 2 Positions Available:
• Part-time – 26.5 hours per week

✨️Meet the Team✨️–Emma edition

Emma began her dental nursing journey in 2016, qualifying in 2018. After taking a short break to attend university, she returned to dentistry in 2024 with a renewed passion for patient care and has recently joined the QRDC team 😀

Outside of work, Emma loves exploring the outdoors, travelling, and challenging herself with new experiences. She’s also a fan of Magic: The Gathering card game and has recently discovered a love for open water swimming — even braving the winter months (brrr! 🥶).

Emma’s favourite part of her role is helping patients feel comfortable and at ease, while enjoying the variety that comes with working across all areas of dentistry 🦷🤍

Today we say a fond farewell to a truly familiar and much-loved face of Queens Road 💙

Jan Williamson is retiring after an incredible career in dental care. Jan first qualified as a dental hygienist in 1979 at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire, and went on to join our practice in 1987. For nearly 40 years here—and over four decades in the profession—she has shown unwavering dedication, kindness, and care to generations of patients.

Many of you will know Jan not just for her professionalism, but for her warm smile and ability to put everyone at ease. She has been a huge part of our team and our community, and she will be greatly missed by colleagues and patients alike.

She’s also been absolutely spoilt in recent weeks and infact months with an abundance of cards, flowers, and gifts—enough to set up her own florist! 🌷

Jan, thank you for everything you have given over the years. We wish you a very happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement—enjoy every minute you truly deserve it ! 🌸
