Meet Sadie! 🌟

As part of our recent whole-school training on GLP, we’ve seen amazing progress in Sadie’s classroom! The training focused on increasing staff knowledge of GLP and the strategies that help create a supportive learning environment. ✨

A true "star moment" occurred when the staff began using key strategies throughout the day – including singing during 'snack time' and 'home time'! 🎶 It was heartwarming to hear staff recognise and celebrate Sadie’s development as she engages with these strategies. We’re so proud of her progress and the team’s commitment to supporting her every step of the way!

Our updated clinic room integrates greater sensory experiences into our sessions. This helps children develop their communication skills while regulating their sensory needs in a safe and engaging environment. 💛

Celebrating a fantastic moment with Reuben and his teaching assistant! 🌟 In our therapy sessions, we focused on demonstrating and implementing supports to boost Reuben's vocabulary learning. Through specific class activities linked to topic words, Reuben confidently used 10 target words and earned the 'Star of the Week' for his outstanding work.

We are so proud of his progress and teamwork!

Meet Jack! 💙

Today’s school therapy session with Jack and his 1:1 teaching assistant was filled with fun and learning! We worked on modelling language using both spoken words and Jack’s electronic AAC device. We kept it fun with 'Bluey' activities (because Jack LOVES Bluey!) and a lot of bouncing on the trampoline! 🦘

✨ Star moment: Jack pressed his AAC "do it again" button to ask for more fun, and then said “do it again” out loud! 🌟
