🐶CUTENESS WARNING 🐶

This week we had a very special visitor on the CF ward... Meet Chase and his owner Maja, who have kindly volunteered their time to provide visits to the CF Unit on behalf of Therapy Dogs Nationwide. We are very excited that we will be having fortnightly visits going forward on the ward!

I am saddened to share the news that Lindy, who provided Therapy Dog Visits to the unit with her dog Charlie, recently passed away.

Lindy volunteered her own time, providing fortnightly visits to our CF Patients for over 3 years. She brought many smiles to patients and staff and always went out of her way to make peoples days special. Lindy’s kind nature and dedication at the CF Unit will be greatly missed.

We would like to gather some photos or memories from patients and staff who enjoyed visits from Lindy and Charlie. If anyone has any photos or comments that they would be happy to be shared with Lindy’s family then please drop us a message over Facebook or email Annie, the activities coordinator – annie.ditchfield1@nhs.net
