I've been gifted this book by a friend. Universal Home Doctor Illustrated, it was published in 1934. How things have changed. With the recommendations of asthma cigarettes😬, grey powder (mercury and chalk) for children with diarrhea 😳 and o***m for coughs and colds,🫣 I'm surprised the human race has survived. Who knows, in years to come our modern medical practices will be viewed with "what were they thinking" 🤷♀️
