👀 You’re looking for:

🪄No cross hair
Each nano ring must contain only the hair from its own section. When hair crosses over into another bead it creates uneven tension, pulling from different directions which can lead to damage, discomfort and unnecessary stress on the scalp ⚡️

🪄Fit in clean, neat rows
The extensions should be fit in full u inform rows! Its make the hair easier to wash and much easier to maintain. From an extensionist’s perspective it’s also easier to monitor scalp health and give ‘anchor breaks’

🪄Correct spacing from the scalp
Leaving enough space between the bead and the scalp allows a full 180° rotation. This is essential for comfortable styling, ponytails and everyday movement without pulling or strain ✌️

🪄Bead colour matched to the root
Using a bead that matches the natural ROOT colour makes nano rings virtually invisible. No visible bonds here!

🪄Better grow-out & longevity

Common myth 🧚‍♀️

Nano rings fall out 🤔 😮

Well actually this is sometimes true… but that’s because of improper fitting!

So many hair extensions courses are outdated and don’t explain the difference between the types of nanos tips/bead or how to correctly pair them.

I only work with metal tipped nanos and silicone lined nano beads which is why my extensions don’t fall out and are SO comfortable for my clients ✨

Ever heard anyone describe their hair extensions as heavy? Or have you ever had someone describe the headache they get from the ‘extra weight’? ⚡️🤒

At MOST you’ll find me fitting 180g of hair on a single client… and that’s no we here near enough to cause pain.

The pain isn’t caused by the WEIGHT it’s caused by the TENSION from the section of hair that’s inside the beads when it’s pulled too tight and clamped shut!

Beads that have been fitted too tight to the scalp pull at the hair follicle and cause tension headaches. This would cause this pain without any hair extensions being attached at all!

Understanding a safe install is understanding that those section have to be loose enough to still have movement but the secure bead so that the client doesn’t experience slipping 🙅‍♀️

Exciting News: Faith is Joining the Team at Hair Tech & Co!

✨ A full-circle moment I’m so proud to share. ✨

I First met Faith when she came to me for hair extensions! During our appointment, she quietly shared her interest in learning the skill herself but admitted she didn’t feel confident enough to take the leap.

Over the last 3 years, our relationship has grown into a wonderful friendship. I watched her push through hard times personally and display amazing determination, and belief in herself which she didn’t think she could ever have.

When she expressed she would like to book onto one of my draining days last March I was so excited!

From the moment we started, Faith’s natural talent absolutely blew me away. Her dedication, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hair extensions were undeniable.
