Alex Szabo at Notts Osteopathy offers diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions
Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.

That first cuppa of the day shouldn’t come with a wince ☕️
Wrist pain has a habit of creeping in quietly — until suddenly everyday things like lifting a mug, typing, or using a mouse feel uncomfortable or even painful.
Your wrist may be small, but it’s a hard-working, complex joint. If it’s complaining, it’s usually for a reason — and it’s not something to just “put up with”.
At Notts Osteopathy, we look beyond the sore spot to understand why your wrist is struggling, so we can help restore comfort, movement, and confidence in day-to-day life.
Pain doesn’t just affect your body — it can quietly creep into everything else too.
Poor sleep, constant tension, headaches, low mood… it all adds up.
Rather than masking symptoms, osteopathy focuses on what’s really causing the problem, helping your body restore balance so everything can start working better together.
If pain has been holding you back, let’s change that — and help you move, rest, and live more comfortably again.
A new week is underway here at Notts Osteopathy, and January feels like the perfect time to press reset and check in with your body.
If aches, stiffness, or niggles have been quietly building up, don’t ignore them — your body has a habit of reminding you when it needs a little extra care.
Here’s to a steady, positive start to the week and moving a little more freely as the days go on 💚
January can feel a little slow and grey… but there’s a simple, feel-good fix 💚
Moving your body is one of the easiest ways to lift your mood and shake off those January blues. A burst of HIIT, a gentle yoga stretch, lifting weights, or even wrapping up for a brisk walk outdoors — it all counts. Those natural endorphins soon work their magic ✨
No pressure. No perfection. Just move in a way that feels good for you — and notice how much brighter the day feels afterwards.

We ask a lot of our bodies every day — often without even realising it. Busy lives, long hours, stress, poor posture… it all adds up over time.
If things are starting to feel stiff, sore or just not quite right, it might be time to give your body a bit of care back. Osteopathic treatment helps restore balance, ease tension and support the way your body moves — so everyday life feels more comfortable again.
Because moving well and feeling good in your body really does matter. 💚

It’s midweek already — how’s your body feeling?
If aches, stiffness or niggles are creeping in as the week goes on, it might be time to give your body a little support.
At Notts Osteopathy, we focus on getting to the root of pain and movement issues — helping you move more freely, feel more comfortable, and get on with life without constantly thinking about your body.
Whether it’s back pain, neck tension, work-from-home posture, or a sports-related issue, we’re here to help you finish the week feeling better than you started it. 💪
Is pain still calling the shots after the festive season — or holding you back as you look ahead to the year?
You don’t have to plan your life around aches and discomfort. Pain isn’t something you should just “put up with” — and it certainly doesn’t have to be your normal.
At Notts Osteopathy, we’re here to help you move more freely, feel stronger, and get back to doing the things you enjoy — without hesitation.
✨ This is your reminder:
Don’t settle. Don’t adapt. Let’s deal with the pain so you can get on with living your life, your way. 💪

Have you set some — and already feel them wobbling a little? You’re not alone… and it doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
This is your gentle reminder that goals aren’t set in stone. They’re allowed to evolve.
Maybe they were a bit too vague. Maybe a bit too ambitious. And that’s okay — real change rarely happens overnight.
Try this instead:
✨ Break big intentions into smaller steps
✨ Make them realistic and measurable
✨ Focus on progress, not perfection
Small, steady adjustments are far more powerful than an all-or-nothing approach. You’ve still got the whole of 2026 ahead of you — and plenty of time to make it work, your way.

Alex is a qualified osteopath, remedial massage therapist and personal trainer. His passion for health and wellbeing has led him to dedicate many years to studying osteopathy which has awarded him a Bachelor of Osteopathy Honours (First Class) degree; allowing him to add new techniques to his extensive experience to help others with musculoskeletal aches and pains.
“Health is so much more than correcting a mechanical problem, it’s important to understand the person, what’s going wrong for them and what they can do to avoid a repeat of the problem. My focus and passion is not only to provide the best quality tailored physical therapy but to provide information to empower and motivate them to take charge of their own health specific to their needs” Alex.
To an osteopath, for your body to work well, its structure must also work well. So osteopaths work to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery. Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. They may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.
