WANTED REGISTER MANAGER-Chesterfield
Job description
CQC responsibility
Register with the CQC- ensure that the service remains compliant with CQC regulations
Uphold the highest quality in all areas of the service
Update the CQC where relevant, be confident with dealing with CQC enquiries and handling inspections
Strive to achieve Outstanding rating with CQC
Day to day responsibility
Manage and be responsible for the day to day running of the service, including working on rotas with Senior Care Coordinators
Maintain quality relationships with all stakeholders including clients, families, NHS, Commissioners, Social Workers
Ensure clear lines of communication exist between Registered Manager and the care team, and third parties
Follow company policy to competently handle complaints, escalating where necessary
Manage recruitment, induction and have overall responsibility for training of new staff, including completing DBS’
Support staff, including resolving staff issues
Oversee and implement all risk assessments
Strategy responsibility
Oversee bids for care packages
Work with the current Care Manager and Owner to adopt and promote a culture of development and steady growth
Work strategically with other providers and Social Care partners
Keep abreast with Industry news and legislation, update all policies and procedures
Auditing of service including internal audits for quality monitoring purposes
Oversee KPI’s

Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care
An expert within the social care field, working in domiciliary care
Experience at Manager level
Full, clean driving license and access to car
Strong understanding of the CQC regulations, the 5 inspection points and ideally up to date with industry strategy
Desirable Requirements
Registered Manager Experience
Train the trainer
