March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month 💛
Some brain tumours can affect vision, so it’s worth knowing what to look out for.
If you notice any of the following — especially if they’re new, getting worse, or persistent — speak to a healthcare professional:
• Changes to vision (blurred/double vision, loss of vision, new blind spots)
• Frequent or worsening headaches (especially mornings)
• Nausea or vomiting with headaches
• Seizures (even a first-time seizure)
• New problems with balance, speech, memory, or personality changes
A routine eye examination can sometimes pick up signs that need further investigation — and if you’re worried about your eyes, we’re here to help.
