What a great turnout it was tonight!

Eight of us took on our debut walk, and we spoke about all sorts!

For me, the best bit is hearing everyone laughing and sharing their stories whilst also being able to have some of the heavier discussions.

Hi everyone 👋

I just wanted to pop on and introduce myself as the new Walk Leader for MWAT Beeston.

Some of you may have been expecting Chris to take on the role, but due to circumstances outside of our control that is no longer happening. I know changes like this can feel a bit unexpected, so I wanted to say hello properly and let you know I’m really looking forward to being part of the group.

I’m also the Walk Leader for MWAT Long Eaton, so some of you might already recognise me from there. I care a lot about creating relaxed, welcoming walks where everyone feels comfortable, whether it’s your first time or you’ve been coming for years.

I’m genuinely excited to meet you all, have some good chats along the way, and keep building a friendly community here in Beeston.

If you see me at a walk, please do come over and say hi. I promise I’m very approachable 😊
