I had all kinds of plans for this year and especially for today! But I’ve spent too much of this year so far being really unnecessarily poorly!

Completely unrelated image but featuring some of my favourites from my beloved PCA! I may be rubbish at social media but it doesn’t mean I’m not working away in the background! Changes are happening! Both to my NHS work and my clinic work! I’ve done some new training recently (and got more booked)!! I’m hoping to launch the treatment in clinic very very soon! I’ve mentioned it to a few of you but I will be on the lookout for models so watch this space!

I’m back! I took a conscious break from social media and it just escalated and now I’ve been away for months! Oops!! But one thing I didn’t forget, daily SPF! SPF is for every day! Even that dullest, darkest, rainiest day of the year but especially as the weather is getting sunnier again! At least factor 30 in a stand alone SPF! Tinted moisturiser doesn’t count unfortunately!! It is the most important part of preventing age related changes in our skin!

Same forehead, 2 weeks apart.
Dynamic lines or expression lines develop in response to repeated muscle movements like smiling, frowning, blinking, and squinting. Every time the muscle contracts during one of these activities, the skin bunches together and creates temporary folds.
Static lines are what most people think of when hearing the word wrinkle. They start as dynamic lines, small and unnoticeable; however, they deepen over the years and become etched into the skin.
Anti wrinkle injections aim to reduce the movement within the muscle, which allows the static lines to soften and become less noticeable. The difference in just 2 weeks is amazing, these lines will only continue to improve in the coming weeks. I didn’t take this photo with the intention of ever sharing it so ignore my facial expression. This is my face 1 hour after a session of microneedling. It doesn’t feel sore, it is however pink, patchy and feels a little tight. This redness subsides within 12-24 hours, and the tightness within 3-5 days. 4 weeks later the collagen boost kicks in and I don’t mind the few days of difference in my skin post treatment.
