👩‍🍳 At Jubilee House, residents have been baking delicious cakes to help raise money for a new defibrillator, and they look amazing!

🚗 At Goldhill House, George loved his trip to the classic car show, while other residents took part in a meaningful self-esteem and empowerment group activity.

🍀Our residents at Dovecote had a fantastic time celebrating St Patrick’s Day🍀

They worked together to create a vibrant green fruit platter, encouraging teamwork and creativity, and enjoyed decorating festive cupcakes with their own unique touches.

The day was topped off with a refreshing iced vanilla matcha, which went down a treat.

A few highlights from this week 👇

Residents at Goldhill enjoyed visiting some furry animals🐾 Paige, our Activity Engagement Coordinator, also led a session discussing financial and relationship scenarios, encouraging residents to share experiences and explore healthy coping strategies for navigating life’s barriers.

At Chilwell House, residents baked brownies and celebrated Jax’s birthday 🎉 They also created a takeaway-style Costa coffee experience with cakes, biscuits, hot chocolate with cream, tea and coffee ☕

John’s journey with us has been one of real progress. After arriving at Goldhill House, he worked hard with the staff to build his confidence and independence before successfully stepping down to Jubilee House.

Thanks to the support and dedication of the team at Jubilee House, John has now reached his end goal of living in the community again after 30+ years.

A great afternoon of Gardening Club at Goldhill House 🌱

Residents got stuck in helping to tidy the garden and get it ready for spring. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying the fresh air and working together outside.

We’re looking forward to seeing everything start to grow over the next few weeks. 🌷

At Chilwell House, our residents came together for a baking group, preparing a delicious cake for dessert. 🍰

Jax led the session with great initiative, guiding the group and encouraging teamwork throughout. Everyone engaged, enjoyed the activity and supported one another in such a positive atmosphere. 👏

Lots of smiles, laughter, and delicious toppings as our residents and teams celebrated Pancake Day together. From classic lemon and sugar to chocolate treats, everyone got involved in mixing, flipping, and enjoying the fun✨

At Goldhill House, residents enjoyed a “Three Things I Love” activity, sharing passions like family, music and exercise.

Over at Chilwell House, residents got creative writing their own heartfelt Valentine’s messages.

Celebrating 14 years of Chilwell House 🎉

Yesterday the whole team came together to mark the occasion, with a lovely buffet put on by our fantastic staff and an impressive cake made by our team leader Joe's partner 🎂

A special mention to Deborah, our Chilwell House “mascot” and very first service user, who has been part of our journey from the very beginning!

💬 Wellbeing Activities Update 💙

Residents at Chilwell House and Goldhill House took part in a Time to Talk session, coming together in a supportive space to share their mental health journeys, build confidence in speaking up, and exchange helpful communication tips 🤝

Meanwhile, residents at Dovecote enjoyed an Emotional Plates Smash activity 🥣💥 - a safe and engaging way to express and release emotions.
