✨ One thing I’m focusing on more is daily movement.

It’s so easy to overlook just how beneficial something as simple as walking can be.

You don’t need to run marathons for it to count as exercise — just getting your body moving and spending time in daylight at this time of year can have such a positive impact ⭐️

Walking supports mental health, heart health, bone density, pelvic floor strength and helps reduce how sedentary we can become.

Small steps really do add up 💛

Runners — fed up of runs feeling harder than they should? Try negative splits 🏃‍♀️

Start with a plod and gradually pick it up.

I used to push straight from the start, end up breathless, and hate every minute.

Once I intentionally slowed the start (it takes practice), my pace naturally increased as the run went on.

The result?
✔️ Better pacing
✔️ More confidence
✔️ Finish runs feeling strong instead of broken.

Try it on your next run — start slower than you think and finish feeling good.

✨ Energy Balls – Your New Favourite On-the-Go Snack!

Made from simple food-cupboard staples, these energy balls are quick to mix, easy to roll, and perfect for busy days.

Ingredients:
• 240g oats
• 200g peanut butter
• 100g honey
• 50g chocolate chips
• 25g raisins

Method:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Stir until fully mixed.
3. Roll the mixture into 20 balls.

Serving:
➡️ 2 balls = 1 snack (10 snacks total)

Perfect for lunchboxes, pre-workout fuel, or an on-the-go energy boost.

All of my workouts are just 30min because being consistent is the secret…

Exercising for hours may seem like the better option because more is better right? But it can be wasted energy if you don’t have a plan and if you don’t find time to for it on a regular basis.

The World Health Organisation states that we should aim for 150min of moderate exercise a week to have a positive impact on our health. That is 150min over the week, not in one session.

I don’t know about you but I don’t want to spend hours exercising.

So, if you keep stop starting with exercise because you can’t find time or you don’t feel you’re getting anywhere, try shortening the sessions but do them more times a week.
