Feedback from a brand new Pilates client ✨ 😀

This lady joined Pilates recently having never done it before. As she was a complete newbie, she didn’t know what to expect, so I had a chat with her before the class started and assured her that she will be absolutely fine.

I am always so conscious when brand new people join my Pilates classes because I want them to have the best first experience.

I am so pleased to receive this lovely feedback and to have this lady continue in my classes 🙌🏼

Up early this morning for my workout before a full day of PT & Pilates 💛

It’s a Bank Holiday, so my clients are fitting their sessions in earlier — which means an earlier start for me too.

I could have easily skipped my workout today…
But I know I feel better when I get it done.

So instead of missing it, I set my alarm and showed up anyway 🤩

Because it’s not about feeling motivated every day.
It’s about adapting your routine and building consistent habits that work around your life.

Some days that looks like a full session.
Some days it’s shorter, earlier, or just getting it done when you can.

✨ Consistency doesn’t mean perfect
✨ It means showing up in a way that works for you

And that’s where real progress happens 💛

Joseph Pilates was way ahead of his time… but not everything from the 1940s translates to how we move today 😳

He created Contrology with a brilliant vision — improving posture, strength and overall wellbeing through controlled, mindful movement. That foundation is still at the heart of Pilates today 💛

But here’s the thing…

Our lifestyles are very different now.
We sit more, move less, and many of us deal with tight hips, weak glutes, and sensitive lower backs.

So some of the original exercises?
👉 Not always suitable (or helpful) for the modern body.

That’s why Pilates instructors adapt and modify.

In my classes, we:
✨ Start from the foundations
✨ Focus on deep core support
✨ Offer options to suit your body
✨ Prioritise movement that feels good and works

Because Pilates shouldn’t leave you with a sore back…
It should leave you feeling stronger, more supported, and more connected to your body.

The current attendees get first refusal and then I shall be opening up spaces to the waitlist.

Every class starts with a moment of stillness, then we move through gentle mobility and mat work Pilates followed by a short guided meditation 🧘‍♀️

No experience is required as I will guide you through everything ☺️

It’s back but it’s better ! ✨ I’ll only be opening a handful of spaces for this…

I’m putting together a small Friday evening Pilates experience — just 10 people, in Beeston.

This would be a slower, more intentional experience to help you move well and properly switch off at the end of the month.

What’s included:
✨Grounding welcome
✨Gentle mobility
✨Mat Pilates
✨Relaxing breath work
✨Guided meditation

Plus something a little extra for you to take away and continue at home🤍

You will leave feeling re-centred and relaxed.

This won’t be a typical class — it’s designed for those who want a more mindful, focused and holistic experience.
