When a couple joins Pilates together, it’s always lovely to see the confidence grow week by week.

Pilates doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. Simple, well-taught movements practised consistently can make a real difference to posture, strength and overall wellbeing — at any age.

Looking for a calm, supportive way to start your week? My Monday 10am Mat Pilates class is a chance to move well, build strength, and carve out an hour just for you.

Each session focuses on joint-friendly, traditional Pilates to help you:

Book Review 📚 The Quiet Wife – J.M. Cannon ⭐ Rating 3/5

Sudden wealth, a picture-perfect neighbourhood… and plenty of secrets lurking behind closed doors 👀

What it’s about:
Howard sells his business and he and Katie become rich overnight. Their marriage has been drifting, and Katie is eager to relaunch her journalism career. When she hears about a potential story linked to the exclusive Carson Pass luxury housing development, she jumps at the chance.
Once they move in, Katie quickly senses something isn’t right — and the journalist in her can’t let it go.

What I liked:
✨ Written in the first person
✨ A strong setting with great scenery
✨ Katie’s determination to keep digging for the truth

Final thoughts:
This was my first read by this author and I thought it was just okay. Despite being under 300 pages, it felt a bit dragged out. The twists at the end were definitely the highlight and saved it for me.
