I used to love our Friday nights together and these sunny evenings are really bringing home what I’ve lost.

So many people asked if I would put another session on for those navigating grief. So I’m going to hold another one before I leave. Next Tuesday 7:30pm. Gentle somatic movement, Breathwork and meditation techniques. Link in comments to join.

I nearly didn’t share this.

Not everything needs to be online… and part of me wanted to keep this just for us.

But I’ve always tried to be honest on here, even when life feels uncertain.

We’ve booked one-way tickets to Thailand.

Not because everything’s figured out…
but because sometimes staying still feels harder than moving.

We need space.
We need a change.
We need something to look forward to.

I’ve probably not thought of a load of things so if you can add to this list please do. I think people are at a loss as to what to do for people that are grieving so here’s my take.

It is so easy on the low days to just want to hide away. To be honest that’s all I wanted to do today. But instead me and the kids went to for a padel lesson and we loved it! ❤️

Losing my daughter taught me this about grief.

I can’t stand the idea of a life of sitting on my own at home every weekend so I’m just trying to flex the muscle by taking myself out for dinner. I was so nervous going in but I soon settled and realised no one really cares. They are all just doing their own thing.

Hello my loves

I’ve had so many messages recently from people asking if I would run a gentle yoga session for grief… so I’ve decided to do one.

This won’t be anything intense or complicated.
Just a really simple Kundalini kriya that I’ve been using myself something to help calm your body, soften the edges a little, and give you a moment to breathe.

You don’t need any experience, equipment, or even energy… you can do it from your bed or sofa if you need to.

I know how heavy things can feel, especially in the evenings, so I’ll be running this on Wednesday at 7:30pm.

There’ll also be a short, optional sharing space at the end for anyone who feels they’d like to but no pressure at all.

If you feel called to join me, I’ve put the link below or find the link in my bio

I am working on my mindset as I navigate early grief. When I looked at my future I was filled with dread and despair but I am trying so shift my perspective to one of my future being a blank canvas. It’s helping me feel less hopeless 💔

I’ve been asked a few times if I would teach an online yoga class for those who are navigating grief. I have the perfect session that I was taught in Thailand called “bringing the body out of distress” it is super soothing for the nervous system and requires no skill, flexibility or equipment.

I am thinking one evening next week via zoom. Let me know if you are interested 🙏

I am petrified of going back to the dark places I have been with alcohol whilst carrying this grief. So I have decided to try and cut the booze just 2 months after becoming a widow.
