Committee results for the following roles are in!

Thank you to everyone who ran, we really appreciated your contributions.

Congratulations to the newly elected members and sorry for those who missed out. Do not despair, the roles treasurer and general secretary have not yet been filled. The deadline to apply for these roles has now passed however we’ll be contacting the SU to try and extend it!

We will announce the full committee when the applications and voting process for the other roles are completed.

Once again, congrats to the new committee members, and best of luck for the upcoming year! ☘️

Join us tomorrow at 3pm to celebrate a fantastic year of henna society! We will be discussing the highlights of our first 1 1/2 years as a new society and hear the manifestos of the future committee that will be taking over!

HENNA SOC COMMITTEE NOMINATION EXTENDED! 🌟

Hello Everyone, We hope you are well during these unprecedented times. Just a friendly reminder that applications to join the committee for the next academic have been extended to 05/06/2020!

We are hoping to hold an online AGM by mid-June to allow prospective candidates to share their manifestos with the rest of the society and current committee members. This will allow us to make a more informed decision in regards to voting for the next committee.

NEXT EVENT: Henna Candle Workshop, WATCH OUT it’s going to be LIT! 🔥🕯🕯

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, what’s better than a personalised candle to thank your special lady ✨

It’s the final workshop before Easter so be sure to attend and bring all your mates!

As always, it will be a chilled evening filled with entertainment, snacks and most importantly some creative therapy, with top tips from our very own henna expert, Semra Malik! 🎨🖌

Hello guys! We know it’s a short reminder, but we have planned our first social for this Saturday, and would love to see you girlies there 💕🤗

Plan: Meet at ZAAP Thai in the city centre, (or anyone that lives in lenton) can meet us earlier and we can go together! After dinner, we’re off to the Christmas markets, for some festive fun 🎄Mulled wine, hot chocolate, waffles, fudge, games, ice-skating, THE LOT! 🎄

Spending more time at GG and less at crisis? Well, it’s that time of year as deadline/exam season is approaching 👩🏽‍🏫

✨ How to deal with this stress best? A STRESS RELIEF HENNA WORKSHOP ✨ Come and get creative, shake off some of those worries, all whilst learning a new talent 💆🏽‍♀️

We had so much fun at our first workshop, mingling and getting creative with you guys. We’re so excited to see you again and meet some newbies ✨

Whether you’re a henna maestro, super macho or can’t draw a circle, there’s room for you all 🤗

Our first workshop! We made a fun time-lapse of just a snippet of the event!
Thank you to everyone that turned up, we had so much fun meeting and getting to know you all! Our first workshop theme was getting to know the basics of henna. E.g. holding the cone, drawing lines, circles, mandalas and flower petals, which was taught by our henna artist Semra!

We’re so excited to meet you guys again, and plenty more of you that couldn’t make it to our first workshop!

Next workshop date: Monday 18th November 5-7pm Portland Building 🤗
