**Important News**

For many it may or not come as a surprise, but my family and I have made the difficult decision to move to the United States this August 2022. I realize this will be sad news to many. Unfortunately, this means the clinic will permanently close on the 29th of July 2022.

I will continue treating existing patients until this time, however, I will no longer be accepting new patients.

If you are looking for help, Nottingham Family Chiropractor is providing treatment for patients who are suffering with pain from flare-ups or those in need of emergency care as outlined in The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations (England) 2020. We are following the Standard Infection Control Precautions as outlined by Public Health England (PHE) and the Health Safety and Executive (HSE) for environments with non-aerosol generating procedures.

Most notably is guidance regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), disinfectant or decontamination, and hand hygiene.

Many changes to policies and procedures have been implemented regarding patient contact and the delivery of care. Our goal is to create an environment where care can be provided in a safe and responsible manner for you that reduces the transmission of the COVID-19 virus as much as possible:

– All patients and visitors will be required to wear a surgical face mask at all times. “The aim of this is to minimise the dispersal of respiratory secretions and reduce environmental contamination.” For patients it must allow a prone position (lying on your front), and must not contain a valve. If you require a mask one may be provided for a fee of 2 pounds.

– Patients must decontaminate hands upon entering and exiting utilizing provided alcohol-based hand sanitiser.

– While measures have been taken to make the clinic environment as safe as possible there may still be some risk. Consent must be given and recorded.

– Electronic payment is encouraged.

All surfaces that patients come into direct contact with will be disinfected after each patient.

Our chiropractor, Adam Kaliff, will wear appropriate PPE as outlined by PHE. He may utilise a respirator in place of a surgical mask. The respirator being of FFP2 or greater. The HSE has stated that FFP2 and N95 respirators (filtering at least 94% and 95% of airborne particles respectively) offer protection against COVID-19 and may be used if FFP3 respirators are not available.

We kindly ask that if you have a cough, temperature. loss of taste and smell, or other coronavirus symptoms that you are considerate of others and avoid making an appointment until after self-isolating 14 days. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to assist those who are at increased risk. Some who are at risk:

Compromised immune system
Pregnant
Cardiovascular disease
Lung condition
Conditions affecting brain or nerves (Parkingson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy etc.)
For a complete list of those at increased risk please follow this link:

Please text, email, or call if you would like to arrange an appointment or if you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards,

– Adam G. Kaliff, D.C.
