Nottinghamshire South Mobile The South mobile is a mobile youth lorry, which is basically a youth centre on wheels!

South mobile youth club operating in the evenings and throughout the week at various locations mainly around Gedling District and Broxtowe District,

Our trained, skilled and professional youth workers will engage with young people, to facilitate positive and fun activities. The aim is to give young people a place to socialise, meet friends, have fun and take part in a range of fun and enriching activities. The South Mobile is a place where young people…

• Can engage with trained youth workers who have been recruited using standards of safeguarding applied by Nottinghamshire County Council.
•Access information and advice on a range of topics.
•Will be encouraged to voice their own opinions and have a say in how the project is run.
•Participate in sports such as cricket, football, tennis, badminton, volleyball and circus skills.
•Can access board games, console games, listen to music and they can even take part in our karaoke nights
•Have the opportunity to take part in trips out, for example ice skating, bowling etc. Here is where we go:-


Tuesday Muirfield Rd Park, Arnold, 6pm - 8.15pm
Weds Bestwood Village. Near park, 6pm - 8.15pm
Thurs Killisick, Arnold, Near Rec park 6pm - 8.15pm
Friday Inhamnook Rec park, Chilwell 6pm - 8.15pm

Yesterday we voted in 3 new Youth Reps for Warren Hill session. They were voted in by other young people. Eloise, Phoebe and Lacey. They will join other Youth Reps that represent their communities from other areas. Morgan. Demi, Ashton. They will be a voice and support their young people, help shape and improve the South Mobile Youth bus experience. Welcome aboard guys!

Last night was a very proud moment to see both Eloise and Phoebe Straw receive their well deserved 4 UTH awards for winners of the Gedling district. There were some touching stories of other young people's kindness, resilience, determination, brought tears to my eyes. Well done!
