🌼Marie Curie🌼

We are working with the wonderful Marie Curie volunteers and have introduced the “Check in and Chat” service. This service is to support our residents and their families that may be dealing with a terminal diagnosis/illness.
The service is completely free and ran by volunteers.
Anyone can access the service and apply for a weekly “check in and chat” to help support a person or family member emotionally with terminal illness and diagnosis.

☕️💬 Catch up and a Coffee 💬☕️

Some of our residents enjoyed a walk to the village today for a coffee and a chat in the café and a look around the shops in the sunshine.
We will be encouraging all of our residents each week to join us on the weekly community walk to get some fresh air followed by a cake and coffee☀️ 🧁☕️

We tried a new style of bingo with the residents which went down a treat! The residents listened to snippets of different songs and marked off the song if it was on their bingo card. We had some great feedback from this activity so will definitely be doing it again in the future 😊
