At Heart of England Crematorium, we’re here to support every family member during difficult times — including children who may be experiencing loss.
Our free Letters to Heaven booklet gently helps children express their feelings through writing, drawing and other creative activities. It also offers simple ideas for keeping memories alive, such as making a memory box, planting something special, or remembering a loved one’s favourite things. 🧸💌🌻
You can collect a booklet from our Book of Remembrance Room, waiting room or main office.💛

Everyone is warmly invited to join us as we remember and honour the special women who have touched our lives. 💗

You’re welcome to write a message or name on a tag and hang it on our Mother’s Day Memorial Tree in memory of a cherished lady.
Our chapel will also be open for quiet reflection, where you can light a candle in remembrance. 🕯️

We’ll be hosting our coffee morning and open chapel on Saturday 14th March, from 10am to 12pm, offering a peaceful space to reflect, remember, and celebrate those wonderful women who hold a special place in our hearts. ☕💐

We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this meaningful time together. 💞

Statement from Dignity Funerals Ltd regarding recent flooding at Heart of England Crematorium.

Dignity Funerals is aware of concerns following the recent periods of heavy rainfall affecting parts of the grounds at the Heart of England Crematorium. We are acting urgently to address this.

Whilst there are environmental constraints on the types of physical interventions that can be introduced without impacting the wider flood management system in the area, we are planning to quickly implement a programme of improvement and maintenance measures, including:

Enhancing drainage features within the site
Reviewing landscape management across affected areas
Working with local authorities and relevant stakeholders
Assessing further practical mitigation measures appropriate for the site

We understand how important the crematorium is to the families and communities we are privileged to serve. Our team remains committed to maintaining the grounds to a high standard and to managing the impact of severe weather responsibly and sensitively.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely and take all reasonable steps to protect and care for the site within the natural environment in which it sits.

Our Candlelight Services offer all the personal touches of a traditional funeral, enhanced by the soft, soothing glow of candlelight. Each service can be thoughtfully tailored to reflect your loved one’s life, values, and wishes, creating a meaningful and comforting goodbye.

🕯️ Available at 6.15pm, 7.15pm, and 8.15pm
Each booking is a one‑hour slot, including entry and exit, giving families time and space to honour their loved one in a calm, gentle setting.
Surrounded by candlelight and the support of family and friends, these moments help celebrate a life lived with beauty and dignity.

🔒💖 Lovelocks now available on our bridge 💖🔒

Love, remembrance, and connection take many forms.
Our memorial love locks hang from the bridge that crosses peaceful water, a place where reflection comes naturally, and memories can quietly rest.
Each lock is engraved with a name, date, or message, then placed on the bridge as a lasting symbol of love. Families can choose for their love lock to remain in place in perpetuity, or for a set time period, allowing remembrance in a way that feels right for them.
As the water flows beneath, these small but meaningful tributes stand as a reminder that love continues - steady, constant, and enduring.
