Kirsten.Tranter

Kirsten.Tranter Qualified Holistic Health & Wellness Coach ✨ & Creative Producer specialising in Dance & Movement 🤸🏻‍♂️. Based in the Midlands.

Hi, I’m Kirsten and I’m a dance and theatre-loving, aerial-hoop yoga fan, with two (spirited) children, a fur-baby and a passion for supporting wonderful people to live the life they deserve. It's my life passion to work with people to help them achieve success – however that looks. I am a certified health and wellness coach, as well as a creative producer specialising in dance and movement and I love working creatively with people to unearth and fulfil passions, connect to each other, find purpose, and live happier, healthier lives. Over 20 years of working in the arts world, I have spent many years facilitating growth, motivation and positive change for teams and individuals. Working in 2 dance development organisations, an arts venue, and some time working in Shanghai, China, gave me the opportunity to work on some incredible projects with amazing communities and artists. In 2015 I chose to become freelance, and have since worked with a number of small companies and individual artists to support them realise their ambitions. I have worked with, Autin Dance Theatre, Dance4, DanceXchange, FABRIC, Mac Birmingham, The Mighty Creatives, V Creates, Dance Leaders Group, Mercurial Dance, Robert Hemming, Spilt Milk, Spectra Arts, Kate Taylor, Bethany Storie, Linden Dance Company, and Brum Dance Network. I've also been on the Steering and Advisory group for Critical Mass (part of Common Wealth Games performance Project) and the West Midlands Dance Leaders Group. As a dancer at heart I have a fascination with the body, how we are put together, how we function and how we move and how we behave. My interest in nutrition (including alternative medicines), fitness and how our lifestyle affects us physically and mentally, and my passion to support others also lead me to study further and become a certified Health and Wellness Coach. As a health coach I look at the whole picture – exploring all potential angles around what’s going on in your life. There can be lots of factors affecting how you feel, and not all of them obvious. We’ll talk about your mindset, emotions, nutritional balance, fitness and lifestyle and get to grips with the things you need to focus on most. We work together on the areas that will really make a difference to YOUR life and bring about positive change. 🌟 SAVE THE DATE! Light Up Fest is back! 🌟
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Light Up Fest is returning to Midlands Arts Centre - MAC this February 2026! ✨

After the incredible success of last year’s premiere, which saw over 1,000s participants light up Cannon Hill Park with movement, joy, and creativity - we simply had to bring it back!

The first edition featured six weeks of lantern-making workshops with local schools and community groups, resulting in hundreds of stunning handmade lanterns that illuminated the night in a magical procession of colour and connection. 💫

Created by Autin Dance Theatre in partnership with MAC - Midlands Arts Centre, Light Up Fest is a vibrant, community-driven celebration. 🌍❤️

🗓️ Saturday 21st February 2026

I’m still processing and Collective residential — so much to take in!

Surrounded by inspiring people, honest conversations, and next-level care (fresh food, cosy hotel, peaceful gardens… the dream for any busy parent!).

My more in depth thoughts are on my blog (link in the bio 🔗) but a huge thank you to & for making us feel truly supported.

I left feeling grounded, challenged, inspired and grateful.

Thank you to for holding such a space of care, encouraging us to practice our freedom, and reminding me that I didn’t need to wait for 1 more percent – I am enough as I am.

Thank you to Jenny Sealey for reminding us to be honest, ourselves and to be brave.

Thank you to Ink Asher-Hemp for allowing me to see the bigger picture whilst also focusing on the importance of the ‘small’ stuff.

Thank you to Susan Clarke for reminding us that we are human and sometimes we mess it up - but that’s an important part growth.

Thank you to Pippa Frith for the reminder that sometimes things can be hard but we can figure out a way!

Thank you Erica Love for demonstrating how leadership is working together, convening spaces and not always knowing the answers.

Thank you to Ele Belfiore for helping me think about data being used in the bigger picture and what’s most useful in a leadership role.

Thank you to Justine Themen to highlighting the importance of values helping me to define my values and use them as a tool.

Thank you to Selena Thompson, for summing up so beautifully how I feel in this moment in this mad world, and for reminding me that in challenges there are always opportunities.

The best way to sum up what I learnt about leadership is above - thank you Jenny Sealey for this one!....

Today was a special day, we had the pleasure of welcoming to our home along with his lovely crew members. I’ve been listening to Rangan’s podcasts for many years now, and I love his thinking, values and ethos, so this defo was a fan-girl moment! He and his podcast guests have inspired me to read many books, purchase several barefoot shoes and impacted my thinking and curiosity about health and wellness in so many ways. If you haven’t listened yet to his ‘feel better live more’ podcasts then do!

A genuinely lovely human being who deeply cares about people, health and wellness, it was an honour to be in his company 😊
