Did you know there are a number of different things which can impact the clarity of your maternity ultrasound scans, including:

🔵the position of your baby
🔵where your placenta is
🔵your body mass index (BMI)
🔵how many weeks pregnant you are
🔵whether you have wind in your tummy (bowel gas). Most people do have this.

Following your appointment, you can use the machine in the waiting area to purchase photos of your scan. Please remember we can only take card payments and are unable to accept cash.

Are you interested in helping to shape your local perinatal pelvic health service?

Coventry and Warwickshire’s Perinatal Pelvic Health Project is looking for women and birthing people who are pregnant or have given birth in the last 5 years to help co-design services.

They are looking for people who have experienced or are interested in perinatal pelvic health problems such as leaking wee, pain in your pelvis, perineal tears, prolapse, leaking wind or poo.

They are currently designing service improvements and want to hear your opinions on their:
Pelvic health webpage
Pelvic health staff training
Pelvic Health service including our new pregnancy classes

Please email jennifer.prescot@swft.nhs.uk if you are interested or would like more information.
