If you are supporting a loved one with diabetes, it's important to:

- Learn about diabetes
- Offer practical support
- Offer emotional support

It's also key to take care of yourself!

This Carers Week we would like to highlight all the people who might not be sure whether they count as a carer. Sometimes we provide support to someone because of love and you might not realise that the support you provide identifies you as a carer. If you are helping someone regularly to manage tasks then you are a carer. It might be that you help with their banking and do some shopping or it might be that you help a person get washed and dressed.

What ever caring looks like for you. We are here to support you and signpost to other organisations. If you think you might be a carer, and want a chat then pop in and see us or call 02476 153201
