At our Nuneaton practice you can see our Hygienist on a Saturday in January and February.

Regular visits to a Dental Hygienist will ensure all plaque and tarter is removed from your teeth and help improve the health of your teeth 🦷 and gums.

At Holywell House we offer direct access to our hygiene services which means you don’t have to be registered with us, but you can visit our hygienists, Helen and Tabs, for any of the treatments they offer, including Scale & Polish and Air Flow Treatments

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and efficient to join our team.
Full training is provided to gain a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Dental Nursing

What are the duties of an Apprentice Dental Nurse?
🦷 Developing skills to assist the Dentist chair side whilst caring for your patient
🦷 Ensuring patients are well cared for and put at ease
🦷 Preparing instruments and materials before and during treatment
🦷 Cleaning clinical areas to a high level, maintaining strict infection controls
🦷 Undergoing training and studying to develop your skills
🦷 Updating computer records

Did you know you can book in with one of our hygienists without being registered with us?

If you have an event coming up or if you just want to freshen your smile, you can book an appointment with us for a Scale & Polish or an Air Flow treatment

A Scale & Polish will remove plaque and tarter and finish with a polish to smooth the surfaces of your teeth. The charge for this treatment is £45

An Air Flow treatment can access those hard-to-reach places using water, air and powder. It will remove plaque, tarter and persistent stains such as red wine, to***co and coffee. The charge for this treatment is £70

Holywell House – Update
With the latest announcement on 19th July lifting restrictions, we as a practice will continue following the guidance given by Public Health England.
We ask that when visiting us you continue to:
• Wear a face mask
• Sanitise your hands
• Adhere to social distancing
• Call us from outside to let us know you have arrived
• Inform us if you have any symptoms or are self-isolating
We will continue to take your temperature at the door and provide you with hand gel. If you forget your mask don’t worry, we can give you one.

To celebrate International Nurses Day, Holywell House would like to say a HUGE thank you to all our Dental Nurses who went above and beyond during the current pandemic.
At the start of lockdown 2020 we became an Urgent Dental Centre and our nurses worked tirelessly to give amazing care and support to those in pain.
