This week marks Baby Loss Awareness Week, a week where we come together to remember all the precious babies who are no longer with us, to support families who have experienced loss, and to raise awareness of the ongoing impact that baby loss has on so many lives. 💙

This week aims to increase understanding, reduce stigma, and highlight the importance of compassionate bereavement support. For many, the journey through grief doesn’t have an endpoint and instead it becomes a part of life.

Having the right support can make all the difference.

At Devall & Son, we’re proud to offer a safe, understanding space through our bereavement support and bereavement support group, where parents and families can come together to share, listen, and heal alongside others who truly understand. Ran by our bereavement support carer, Heather Bonsall, the group creates a warm, non-judgmental environment for anyone navigating loss.

The week concludes with the global Wave of Light on 15th October at 7pm. We invite you to join us by lighting a candle in memory of all the little lives gone too soon.

We recently had the honour of arranging a funeral where a beautiful Cadillac played a special role in the cortege. This car was meant to be part of a cherished moment—serving as the wedding vehicle for a vow renewal that, sadly, never took place.
In a touching tribute, the family chose to include it in her final journey, ensuring she had the meaningful and heartfelt farewell she deserved. 🕊️💙
