We recently had the honour of travelling down to Aldershot to conduct a military funeral.
The day was an incredible display of respect, dignity and gratitude.
From the moment we arrived, every detail reflected the pride and honour that accompanies a military farewell. The presence of uniformed personnel, the carefully observed traditions, and the quiet moments of reflection created a truly moving atmosphere.
It was a privilege to support the family and to play a part in delivering a service that recognised such commitment, courage and dedication.💙

An incredible turnout for a truly brave gentleman.
We had the honour of taking care of the funeral for a man whose life was full of courage and resilience.
Seeing so many family members, friends, and members of the community come together was a powerful reminder of the impact he had on those around him.
It is always a privilege to stand alongside families during such important moments, ensuring their loved one is given the send-off they deserve.
Our thoughts remain with all who knew and loved him 🤍

Mother’s Day is a day to say thank you to the mums, grandmothers and mother figures who have shaped our lives with their love, care and guidance.

For many, it’s a joyful day spent together, sharing cards, flowers and special moments. For others, it can be a time of quiet reflection and remembrance for a mum who is no longer here but is always close in heart.

Part Time Funeral Operative & On-Call Team Member
Minimum 3 days per week.

As a second-generation, independent family funeral director serving Nuneaton and Coventry, we are known for our professionalism, presentation and unwavering standards of care. Every member of our team represents our name at the most important moments in a family’s life.

We are now seeking a Part Time Funeral Operative to join our team and become part of our on-call rota.

The role includes:

• Acting as a Pall Bearer at funeral services
• Driving our funeral fleet
• Bringing loved ones into our care from hospitals, care homes and private residences
• Assisting with preparation for Chapel of Rest viewings
• Supporting funeral services on the day
• Maintaining vehicles, uniforms and operational standards
• Participating fully in our out-of-hours on-call rota

This role requires a minimum of 3 working days per week.

Additional days and overtime may be available.

On-call work is a core part of the role.
You must be available when rostered, able to attend promptly, and remain calm and professional during night time and weekend duties.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has absolute integrity
• Understands discretion and confidentiality
• Is calm under pressure
• Is physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Is punctual and reliable
• Takes pride in their appearance
• Speaks clearly and respectfully
• Has a genuine desire to serve families

Funeral experience is welcome but not essential. Character is non-negotiable.
