Save The Date- Eternal Lights 2025

On Sunday 7th December 2025, we warmly invite you, your family, and friends to join us for this special evening of remembrance as we hold our annual Christmas Memorial Service, in partnership with Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

This service is a time to pause during the festive season, to remember those we love, to honour their lives, and to find comfort and hope together as a community.

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing further details, including how to upload a photo for the memorial, what to expect on the evening, sponsors for this year's event and full event timings. Please keep an eye on our social channels for updates.

Some more precious moments from a truly beautiful service.

The crematorium was filled with a sea of sunflowers, lovingly worn by every mourner. In keeping with her wishes, our funeral director and bearers also wore sunglasses. A playful nod to her request that they look “like the mafia,” capturing her sense of humour even in farewell.

This was more than a goodbye, it was a heartfelt celebration of a remarkable life, and a send-off as unforgettable as she was.

We were deeply honoured to have recently conducted a service for a beautiful soul taken from this world far too soon.

In a tender and meaningful gesture, her family chose to bring her home for one final night before her farewell.

Every precious part of her life was lovingly reflected in the service from her love of ducks, theatre, and sunflowers, to the countless other joys that made her who she was. Each detail came together to create a truly moving tribute that captured her spirit perfectly.

We are sincerely grateful to her family for entrusting us with her care. It was a privilege to support them in creating a service that truly celebrated her life.

Exciting News – New Headstone & Memorial Showroom Coming Soon

We are delighted to share some exciting news with you.

We have recently acquired the retail space adjacent to our current premises and florist in Attleborough, we are now developing a brand-new Headstone & Memorial Showroom.

This dedicated space will allow us to offer families more choice when it comes to headstones, urns and memorial jewellery. By opening this showroom, we hope to make the process of selecting a lasting tribute more personal, comfortable, and meaningful.

The showroom will provide a welcoming environment where families can take their time, ask questions, and explore options with the support of our caring team.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing regular updates on the renovation progress, previews inside the new space, and details of what you can expect once the showroom opens. 💙🕊️

Our Coventry Funeral Arranger, Christina, recently organised a beautiful and heartfelt farewell for a much-loved lady.
The stunning black coffin with engravings that reflected her unique personality, was a true tribute to her life. Accompanied by a motorcycle hearse for her final journey, it was a send-off that was both meaningful and personal. 🕊️💙

Earlier this year, while on duty, one of our dedicated funeral operatives, Elliot, witnessed a serious road traffic accident. A car had overturned and become submerged in water with a mother and her two children trapped inside.
Without hesitation Elliot along with a few other members of the public jumped into action and helped to free the mother and two children from the submerged car, getting them to safety and in turn saving their lives.
We are incredibly proud to have Elliot as part of the Devall & Son team, and even prouder to see him recognised for his actions within our local community. His actions that day were nothing short of inspiring.
In recognition of his heroic efforts, Elliot was recently honoured by Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service with a Chief Fire Officer’s Commendation.
