It is Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month!

We wanted to take the opportunity to share the positive impact our pharmacy team is having on our patients through our asthma support sessions 🤝

These sessions are helping patients better understand and manage their asthma, improve inhaler technique and increase their confidence whilst managing their condition.

Following the event, several patients have booked into follow-up clinics, with 93% reporting they were ‘very satisfied’ with the care received. Clinical outcomes were strong, including:

✅ 95% improved inhaler technique
✅ 50% requiring medication adjustments
✅ 30% transitioned to AIR/MART therapy

⭐ Overall usefulness of the event was rated 9.3/10

We are proud to showcase some information on how our asthma sessions are progressing and the difference they are making to the patients we support 💚

Did you know that your surgery has access to a translator service?

That is right! During Global Accessibility Awareness Day, we wanted to highlight that accessibility is not just about physical access; it is making sure information and communication is open to everyone.

Let your practice know if you require a translator so we can accommodate.

💗 Nuneaton & Bedworth Primary Care Network supports Breast Cancer Prevention Week, 18th – 24th May 2026 💗

This week is a reminder that making small changes can make a big difference to our health and wellbeing.

Breast cancer affects so many families, friends, colleagues, and loved ones across our communities. By raising awareness and encouraging healthier lifestyle choices, we can all play a part in helping to reduce risk and support earlier detection.

Simple steps such as staying active, eating well, maintaining a healthy weight, limiting alcohol, and knowing the signs and symptoms can all help make a difference.

Most importantly, remember to check your body regularly and attend breast screening appointments when invited, early detection saves lives!

Together, through awareness, support, and prevention, we can help build a healthier future for everyone.
