Congratulations to Lottie Humphreys for winning a DAISY Award, the first for a member of our fantastic Maternity team.

Lottie received two nominations from parents whose journey with us was made that much easier thanks to her being “super professional and caring” throughout their stay.

“She worked a mix of days and nights and helped [my partner] to feel comfortable and safe,” one nomination read.

“She always checked on her when she had time and was able to help with advice, and just generally made the whole process less stressful.

Today we had the absolute privilege of celebrating another International AHP Day by presenting our Dawn Downes' Award.

This award celebrates our AHP of the Year and is voted for by their colleagues.

This year's deserving recipient is Physiotherapy Team Leader, Sophie Cottam, who was recognised for the clinical skill and exceptional leadership she's shown at George Eliot Hospital.

We were delighted to welcome the Right Reverend Sophie Jelley, Bishop of Coventry to George Eliot Hospital yesterday.

The visit was an opportunity to discuss the fantastic work our Chaplaincy do and the important role they play within the hospital.
