We offer specialist physiotherapy assessments and rehabilitation packages, we also provide joint injections, acupuncture and referral to specialist services as required. Physiotherapy is the use of movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice to help people affected by injury, illness or disability (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, 2013). HCPC and CSP registered, providing a wide range of services; personalised rehabilitation programmes, sports massage, acupuncture, taping and strapping and strength and conditioning programmes. We run both a clinic and mobile service which allows you to book appointments around your other day to day commitments. We treat everything from sprained ankles, shin splints, sciatica, lower back and knee pains, to rheumatoid arthritis and post-operative rehabilitation. The aim is not only to reduce pain and facilitate recovery but also to restore function and prevent injury and disease. Physiotherapists assess the whole of the person for contributing factors to pain and reduced function rather than focusing on one specific area. We use a combination of treatment techniques including ‘hands-on’ treatments such as soft tissue massage or joint manipulations as well as personalised rehabilitation plans and lots of advice and education. We are also I dependant prescribers and can provide joint injections as required.
