We had a fantastic time today at the Oakham Food & Drink Festival! 🍴✨

So many amazing local producers, delicious food, and some brilliant gift ideas for anyone looking to treat their loved ones (or themselves!). It was great to soak up the atmosphere and support such a vibrant local community.

We also loved having the chance to chat with so many people about what we do at Home Straight—providing compassionate, reliable care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Conversations like these really remind us why we do what we do 💙

We had a lovely time at the Morcott Winter Lunch this afternoon. 🍲🍰

All funds raised go back into the village hall, and it was wonderful to see such a vibrant, community-led event in action. The home-cooked soups and puddings were delicious, but the best part was chatting with residents and feeling the real community spirit.

Thank you for such a warm welcome – we’re already looking forward to the next one! 💙
