Another great turnout by Rutland veterans across all services at the regular coffee event at The Buttercross pub in Oakham this morning.
Very friendly and welcoming with ladies and gentlemen equally represented.
The group is a more low key spin off from the regular Armed Forces Breakfast Club regularly held at the Grainstore. Serving personnel or veterans can attend either or both.
Lively chat and plenty of laughter with coffee and biscuits supplied by Tesco Oakham. Come along and join us next time at 10am on Wednesday 8 October. See you there. www.afvbc.world

A lovely chance to socialise in the centre of Oakham at All Saints Church Hall. Twice a month, 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month 10am till 1pm.
Coffee, chat, crafts, speakers and a two course lunch of soup and pudding all for just £4.

Lovely coffee morning today at Casterton Church Hall. Full of laughter, friendly atmosphere and community spirit.
This event is on every Wednesday at 10:45, if you live in the Stamford area and fancy a chat over a nice hot drink and cake this is the place for you.

Popped into Langham Village Hall today to find a vibrant, friendly and welcoming community lunch in full swing. Although the lunch is only quarterly, the community coffee takes place every week from now on.
If you live in or near Langham and fancy chatting over coffee and biscuits this is a great event.

However, perhaps something else to consider would be to reach out to our friends at Home Straight, who might be able to help you when you can't manage, either temporarily or a little longer. Please see their page for more information of the wide range of services they offer.

Of course, if it's your pet that you're worried about during a challenging time, that's when we could step in too. Knowing what help is available for yourself and your pet is so important for your peace of mind.
