Reflexology The power holistic therapy can have on a receptive client still amazes me today.

I love working with energy and helping people take charge of their own health and wellbeing. There is so much that we can do to prevent illness and help ourselves keep fit and healthy. I want to be able to share what I know and help other people to feel more in control of their own well-being. The treatments I offer have wonderful health benefits but are often enjoyed by clients who want to enjoy a relaxing treatment (another self-healing benefit) only to find it helps them in other ways too.

Ever put the coffee in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard?

Same.

It’s that scrambled-brain moment where you’re doing your best, but your mind’s already ten steps ahead—or ten steps behind.

Whether it’s ADHD, burnout, stress, or just too many things in your head at once, these little slips are more common than you think.

They’re not failures—they’re signals that your nervous system is overloaded.

Mindfulness helps you slow down just enough to come back to the moment with a bit more clarity (and a lot more kindness).
What’s your most relatable ‘oops’ moment when your brain was on a different planet? Share it below—we’re in this together.

Curious about Mindfulness‑Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)? It’s more than meditation—it’s an 8‑week, evidence‑based program combining mindfulness, body scans, and gentle movement to help women manage stress, burnout, ADHD, chronic pain, and overwhelm.

Research shows it can reduce anxiety, depression, and even physical symptoms like chronic pain, lower stress hormone levels , and build emotional resilience and self‑compassion. But it’s not about perfection—it’s about showing up for yourself with kindness, even when life feels too much. If you’re ready to explore a practical, science-backed approach to calm and clarity, I hope you’ll give this post a read, save it for later, or share it with someone who could use some support.

And I’d love to hear—have you tried any mindfulness practices that made a difference?

Discover what mindfulness-based stress reduction is and how this research-backed approach can help manage chronic pain and stress.

BIG moment for me today — I just published my first article on Medium!

It’s a story I’ve wanted to share for a long time — about the kind of burnout no one really talks about. The kind that creeps in when you're caring for everyone else, holding it all together, and slowly falling apart inside.

It’s about what it was like caring for my mum while navigating perimenopause, parenting, running a business — and trying to stay calm and present while quietly breaking.

If you’ve ever felt like you should be coping, but inside you’re running on empty… this one’s for you.

I also share one of the simple techniques that helped me process the stress and emotions — a practice that kept me grounded when things felt overwhelming.

🧡 I know how many women are going through similar things, often in silence.

If it resonates, I’d love for you to read it, share it, or simply know you’re not alone.

📝 Here it is:

I didn’t realise I was burnt out at the time. I just thought I was failing.

Do you wake already feeling behind? Like the day’s already started without you, and your brain is racing before your eyes even open? If that’s you—you’re not alone. So many women navigating stress, burnout, ADHD, chronic pain, or just too much mental load know this feeling well. Mindfulness and self-kindness won’t change your to-do list, but they can change how you meet the day. A few minutes to pause, breathe, and check in with yourself can shift everything. You don’t need a full routine—just small, doable steps that help you feel a little more grounded, a little more you. 💬 Does this resonate? How do you feel when the day begins? Let’s talk in the comments.
