Reflexology The power holistic therapy can have on a receptive client still amazes me today.

I love working with energy and helping people take charge of their own health and wellbeing. There is so much that we can do to prevent illness and help ourselves keep fit and healthy. I want to be able to share what I know and help other people to feel more in control of their own well-being. The treatments I offer have wonderful health benefits but are often enjoyed by clients who want to enjoy a relaxing treatment (another self-healing benefit) only to find it helps them in other ways too.

Calm a Busy Mind – Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

LINK - ONLINE SESSION
Curious about meditation but not sure where to start?
If your mind has been feeling busy or overwhelmed lately, this gentle session may be exactly what you need.
This relaxed online session is part of a short Meditation Discovery Series, offering simple introductions to different meditation practices.
Rather than spending a long time talking about meditation, we’ll spend most of the session experiencing the practice together, so you can discover how meditation feels in your own mind and body.

***

This Session: Mindfulness Meditation
In this session we will explore mindfulness meditation, a simple practice that involves noticing the breath, thoughts, and sensations with curiosity and kindness.
Mindfulness meditation can help:
• calm a busy or overthinking mind
• reduce stress and mental tension
• increase awareness and focus
• create a sense of grounding in the present moment
This session is beginner friendly, so no previous experience with meditation is needed.

***

What to Expect
This will be a gentle and relaxed mindfulness session designed to help you slow down and take a little time for yourself.
During the session we will:
✔ Begin with a short introduction to mindfulness meditation
✔ Take part in a guided meditation practice
✔ Enjoy a calm and supportive space to relax and unwind
✔ Take a quiet moment at the end to settle and reflect
✔ Optional time for any questions
If you would like to, you may also wish to spend a minute or two writing down anything you noticed during the meditation in a notebook or journal.
You are welcome to join with your camera on or off — whatever feels most comfortable for you.

***

What You May Like to Bring
To help you feel comfortable during the session, you might like to have:
• A notebook or journal and pen
• A comfortable place to sit
• A blanket or warm layer so you stay cosy
• A cup of tea or water
This is simply a quiet space to pause, breathe, and be kind to yourself.

Mindfulness isn’t about clearing your mind—it’s about meeting yourself with kindness. If you’ve ever felt like your thoughts are all over the place, or that you just can’t seem to catch a breath between work, responsibilities, and emotions, you’re not alone. Mindfulness isn’t something you need to master or do “right.” It’s about being present in your life—even the messy, imperfect moments. In this post, I break down what mindfulness really is and how it can help, especially if you’re navigating ADHD, burnout, chronic pain, stress, or just too much mental noise. It’s a gentle starting place, full of small ways to reconnect with yourself without adding more to your to-do list. If this speaks to you, I’d love you to give it a read, save it for later, or share it with someone who needs a bit of calm today. And feel free to share in the comments—what’s your experience with mindfulness? Has anything worked for you so far? www.kindfullyyou.com/mindfulness/mindfulness-what-is-it-and-how-can-it-help/
