We will start the day with a welcome and grounding meditation, followed by a Cacao Ceremony to set our intentions for the day.

We will then enjoy easeful yoga to create space within the body and preparing us for a Soul Connection Meditation.

After a vegetarian lunch we will create our Autumn intentions and prepare to let go of all that which no longer serves us. We will also use Oracle cards and journaling to assist with letting go and moving forward with our Autumn intentions.

We will then release all that needs to be release into the stream in the garden. Tea and cake will follow before a grounding drumming journey and closing ceremony.

You will leave feeling connected to your Soul, relaxed and reconnected to your Soul, enabling you to slide into Autumn with grace and ease.

Eating fibre feeds your good gut microbiome 😊

Switch people between a whole food plant-based diet and more of an animal food-based diet, and you can see dramatic shifts within the microbiome just in two days. Switching to an animal food-based diet can result in toxic metabolites, such as an increase in levels of deoxycholic acid, which can promote DNA damage and liver cancers. Why do levels of deoxycholic acid go up? Because the bad bacteria producing the stuff triple—in just two days of switching to an animal food-based diet.

A high-fiber diet (over 50 grams per day) is beneficial not just for our gut health, but for chronic disease prevention. When our friendly gut flora ferment fiber, they produce beneficial compounds like butyrate, which is anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer.

PREDIMED, one of the largest interventional dietary trials ever performed, followed more than seven thousand men and women at high cardiovascular risk randomized into different diet groups. One group received a free half pound of nuts every week for four consecutive years. Compared with other groups, the added-nuts group appeared to cut their stroke risk in half. And, regardless of which group participants were assigned to, those eating more nuts each day had a significantly lower risk of dying prematurely overall.
