Information sharing -
Dear Parents/Carers.
This is an invitation for anyone who is caring for either an adult, or a child with SEND. (Please note that you are still classed as an unpaid carer if you receive carers allowance.)
Rutland is developing a new strategy to support all carers including Parent Carers, Young Carers and Young Adult Carers. Carers Conversations have already taken place in January and February to help shape the new strategy proposal. We encourage you to come along to find out more and give your views on the proposal before the new strategy is finalised. Details of how to join are included in the poster.

Good morning please see upcoming events below. Unfortunatly we are still having tech issues with our emails please share to other members of the charity that may be interested in the below.

Coffee meet up. This will be held at the Cafe at Kings, this is based in the King Centre, Main Road, Barleythorpe, Oakham, LE15 7WD. This will be held 19th March 11.30am to 1pm. There is parking on site and RRFSC will purchase the first hot/cold drink.

For our Easter activity we are lucky to be back for our Lambing and Refreshment event.
April Tuesday 7th and Thursday 9th 10am-12/12.30pm £5 per a family

Hello, we would like our families to join us for a day out at Twinlakes for our May half term event.

May 24th 10.30am to 5pm

Under 3s go on free please email me to add an under 3 onto your booking.

Unfortunately they only allow 1 carer for 1 send person if the person with SEND needs 2 to 1 the 2nd adult will need to purchase a ticket.

Booking closes 1st April as I need to let the park know soon.

If you get a carers ticket you will need to bring a dla, pip or hospital letter or blue badge as proof of entry.

We will all have to go in together but you are free to roam around as your own group once in and can leave when you like. Please take a pack up or there are eating places on site.

No transport is being put on for this trip

Hello we have had feedback about our coffee mornings where people would like to trial a lunch time session to include working parents who may be able to join on their lunch break. Hello unfortunately our members emails have been bouncing back from people's mail server when I am trying to send out information as they think I am spam.
Please can you save the family centre as a contact on your email. There should be a people section on your email and then you can add contact please also save the number in your phone so you know it us ringing when trying to make contact.

Thank you to The Whissendine STARS for having us at their rehearsal for Robin Hood our families had a joyful time.
