Fostering is a hot topic right now, with the Government proposing changes and funding to support the recruitment of more carers.
Some of the barriers they mention are not barriers in Rutland! The initial criteria is to be over 21 and have a spare bedroom for a child or young person. Beyond that, our lovely, friendly team will work with you to discuss how fostering might look for you, and for a child in your care.
Our support at Rutland is fantastic – we may be biased – but one of our legendary carers agrees!
